As part of our broader Buy Right campaign, People and Planet have teamed up with Amnesty International to bring you Channel 4′s Dispatches: Mark Thomas on Coca-Cola. It’s an inspiring and informative film by the comedian and political activist Mark Thomas. It’s less than an hour long and we’ll be going for drinks afterwards in The Deaf Institute (next to The Footage).
Directions: The John Dalton Building is the large building opposite the BBC. It is on Oxford Road and Chester Street. Walk into the John Dalton building and take the corridor on the left. The room will be on the left.
People and Planet meetings are held every Wednesday at 2pm on the second floor of the Student Union. They normally last about an hour and everyone is welcome.
Education for Sustainable Living Forum holds a meeting on the second Thursday of every month at 5pm in conference room 1 in the Student Union and is a chance for all MMU staff and students to voice their suggestions for ways to improve MMU’s green credentials.
